Blog Candy Time!

With so many bloggers doing 12 days of Christmas activities, I thought I would join in some of the fun. With that, I will give away my first ever blog candy. The winner is going to get some button brads, no-set eyelets, some really cute chipboard tags, a cherries stamp, and a set of 5 little word stamps which are...explore, discover, imagine, dream, and journey. Here is a picture of all the little goodies...

So, what do you have to do to win? Just leave a comment on this post. In your comment, you have to tell me two things.

1. What is the #1 stamping/paper crafting thing on your Christmas wish list this year?
2. What is your favorite, yummy holiday treat? I'm looking for ideas, so recipes are very much so welcome! :-)

My answers?

1. All the Tim Holtz stuff. The Distress Inks, and powders, and some of the unmounted stamp sets. Cool stuff!

2. Chocolate Chip Cookies - Yes, I know, boring. My second is probably the cheesecake that I only ever make for Christmas. I always look forward to that.

I will draw a winner from the comments on Sunday, so check back to see who wins!

Ohh ooohhh ooooooh I am first wheeeee!!! Okay, #1 on my list is MAGNOLIAS! Unfortunately the only people who will be shopping for me would totally be clueless how to get to their site and pay in dollars, so I'm sure they'd give up. So I'm hoping for Christmas moolah so I can go shop myself. :)

Fave treat? Pumpkin rolls! I'll be posting the recipe on my blog later this week since I need to make some too, and since I'm blurfing from work (shhhhhhhh) I don't have it "on me." lol!

Merry Christmas, Michelle!!

I reeeeaaaalllly want a bigkick Sizzix...and of course some embossing folders and dies to use with it. And some new cardstock to use with the Sizzix. And I would really love some new embossing powders to play with too!
OOOH and our favorite holiday treat would be either Muddy Buddies or People Chow...the kids love making it and both recipes are kid friendly!

Hi Michelle, can I play too?
#1, I think In want a Crop-a-dile- the Green one! (I'm slow to catch on trends & gadgets!)
#2, JUST ONE treat?!! Hmmm... Pfeffernuese- and I probably spelled that wrong! It's a German spice cookie, you can usually buy them only at Christmas time. My Grandma always had some at her house.
Can I ask you a question? Is your blog on Gingerwood's blog list? I can't find it there, only in your posts. I enjoy reading it!

1-I have no wish list. I dont do Christmas swapping.
2-I make lots of soups and cookies for hubby to take to work, so soup and bread would work.

Nestabilities set is on my wish list and my favorite Christmas goody is Cracker cookies. The recipe uses regular saltines and you pour a cooked topping of butter and sugar on them, then top that off with chocolate chips. They taste nothing like crackers and everything like English toffee. Yum! Thanks for sharing.

#1- a Bind It All. Not sure how much I would use it....but then many of the things I purchase are like that. ;)
#2 - Dingbats (I guess you would call it a kind-of-cookie that uses coconut, rice krispies, and dates. I'll e-mail you the recipe if it sounds good to you.)

1. Would love a Cricut.
2. Karo Krazy Krunch is a favorite. Basically is toffee coated popcorn - very additive if you like toffee.

Thanks for sharing goodies with us:)

1) I'd like a couple of Cricut cassettes.
2) The fried Italian Scalletti cookies that we have made every Christmas for generations.

1. a stamp cleaning system of some sort.
2. I read about this and thought it would be great, quick and easy.
~1 tube of chocolate chip cookie dough
~Hershey kisses

Press a little dough into mini muffin tins (about 3/4 full) and bake. When removing from oven, press a hershey kiss pointed side down into the cookie.
Great easy chocolate cookie that looks elegant.

Enjoy

I just found your blog, a friend that owns a stamp store sent me the link! It's great!
I am wanting some new Paper Trey sets, I just love Nichole's style!
My favorite treat is divinity, with a peanut butter center (this is homemade, of course)...it's really yummy! But you can get a close treat with marshmallow "fluff" and peanut butter in the same bite! Try it! :D
